Facilities

Grupo Proinsa is dedicated to the production of mussels in "batea" and long-lines, we are the main individual producer of Spanish Mussel. We have a total of 100 units of cultivation, all of them located in the estuary of Lorbé.

VITALMAR, located in Castro de Rei (Lugo), is equipped with the most modern technical means to cook and freeze mussels, with an annual capacity of more than 5,000 metric tons.

We have our own laboratory, were we submit our production to a strict quality control, both at sea and in the processing plants.
